Hey Beautiful!

I hope you had a great Valentine’s Day. I bet you had a lovely dinner, got smothered with all kinds of presents. Love is a beautiful thing. Matter of fact, I love love.

For someone who loves love, I and Hubby are not all that particular about Valentine’s Day. Each year becomes more and more less Valentiney! I mean we have gone out for meals the past couple of years but I am afraid age is catching on. This year, I was looking forward to staying in and catching a movie on box office on the settee. No judgements here ladies. I know am always preaching about being spontaneous and blah blah blah but this year, my advice failed me. It was an average day in my house. So average that I forgot to dress my son in white and red as requested by the School (yes am not the best of mums).

So today I went to work on my new work/training space (I’ll fill you in once that’s done). Did my school runs. Cooked for Hubby because  I could not keep avoiding the bloody kitchen especially on Valentine’s Day. I went to the gym, and came back to serve my lovely valentine the tasty dish I prepared for him. Let’s just put it this way, as I write this post, my valentine is snoring and we never even watched that box office movie. Regular TV was our highlight of the day. Oh and as a present, I shared a hamper with my hubby courtesy of his bank because he is a great money saver! It was a pretty good hamper. It had luxury towels, hand care set, loads of chocolate, expensive sparkling wine, tea, coffee and a storage box. Oops... I am jumping off point.

What’s my point? If you are in the spirit of celebration, go all out and do what makes both of you happy. If you don’t have someone or are going through a terrible breakup, it might not look like things will get better right now but the best is yet to come. If you are walking with God hence according to His will, he has the most juiciest husband in store for you that will make you feel like everyday is Valentines Day. Therefore, whether you celebrated it or not, it will not matter because your days are always filled with love, hope and fulfilment. My prayer for you is that you will not miss that man that God has taken time to perfect so that all the rest of your days will be filled with love.

Happy Valentine’s Day Beauties.
