Are You A Resolute Woman?

ＴＨＥ ＲＥＳＯＬＵＴＥ ＷＯＭＡＮ Life really sucks sometimes and depending on what season you might be in, life might suck most times. Life does not give a hoot whether the economy sucks, it does not stop to wait on you while you try to figure out how to increase sales in your business neither does it care that you have a psycho for a mother in law or that your fiancé got caught with his hands in the cookie jar and it definitely does not care if a loved one just passed on. Life is definitely neither easy or fair. The saddest part is that is not going to wait for you. The world just keeps going around and the universal clock never stops ticking. Couldn’t it just pose for a few while you figure out the next step? If only! A resolute woman understands all the above and works really hard to overcome every obstacle life throws her way. Why? Simply because there are always two sides to a coin. So she fights to get to the other side of life where ‘most’ things work in her favour financially, emotionally, spiritually and physically or not. She therefore, 1. Has a plan. Takes time to think carefully and strategically about her goals. She knows what she wants to achieve, and she has a plan for achieving it. 2. She is unique. She defines herself. She rejects society’s confining definitions, and she speaks her own truths. She knows who she is and what is most important in her life. 3. She is not superwoman. She has established priorities. She doesn’t try to do the impossible. 4. She isn’t looking for easy answers. She knows that most of us don’t get rich quick. That there’s no easy way to lose 10 pounds. That there’s no quick method for civilizing a child. 5. She is strong. She hasn’t figured everything out, but she’s willing to work hard. She keeps working toward her goals even when she encounters many obstacles. She knows important things require a great deal of effort. 6. She takes risks. She’s willing to try a new approach. She’s willing to find a different solution. She’s willing to keep working until she finds the solution that’s exactly right for her. 7. She is independent. She doesn’t sit around waiting for a Fairy Godmother or for Prince Charming to ask for her hand in marriage. And, when she gets married, she keeps developing her own interests and passions. 8. She builds strong relationships. People are important in her life. She is surrounded by a circle of family and friends. 9. She is confident of her success. She’s realistic. She knows that the solution for most problems is not just a smile and a positive attitude. But she knows that a smile and a positive attitude and a lot of hard work can help. She defines her own success. She’s not perfect. She hasn’t achieved all of her goals. But she already is a success. 10. She is prayerful. She respects various beliefs yet when it comes to a relationship with her maker,she does not compromise and invests time in continuously building this relationship.
